Things have just about calmed down at Somerset House and the surrounding fashionable areas, so now it’s time to sit back with a much-needed cup of tea in our hands and reflect on what the past five days have brought us.

We had it all this autumn/winter 2012 season at London Fashion Week: fabulous star-studded front rows, impeccable styling, glamorous venues, ground-breaking designs and the most delicious and highly appreciated free PROPERCORN popcorn at Somerset House… thanks guys!

Picking our highlights from London Fashion Week is definitely easier said than done, as just when we think we have a good, solid top ten, we remember one more thing and have to start over. Here’s how the current list is shaping up:

Military green and a catwalk full of leaves at McQ

Oversized peplum style pockets and bow belts at Burberry

Wetlook hair at Todd Lynn

A literal pencil skirt at Mary Katrantzou

Fluorescent 60s style hairbands at Spijkers en Spijkers

The ultimate fairy princess dress at Inbar Spector

 Sparkly gold rain at Burberry

Christian Louboutins at Todd Lynn

Pieces to make Barbie ecstatic at Holly Fulton

A flurry of fur at Mulberry
